Love Alarm Words and Music by Scott Ibex It’s time to sound the love alarm Now’s the time to be sublime It’s time to sound the love alarm Forever more from now sweet love (sweet love) The world must change to be alive We need the spirit of your heart Come sweet children, wake up darlings We need your love to repair time Cause time has been lost As wars have been fought It’s time now to live Through love and just give Your soul to the cause For all not sold and bought Life requires sacrifice, but love requires naught Oh love requires naught… But…love sweet love, forget hatred and give the world your Love sweet love, love sweet love sweet love...

All I Ever Wanted It was Saturday morning when I woke up to the truth, it hit me like a landslide and I knew, all I ever wanted, was you. Stars shone through your eyes and a fool was made of me when I knew. Oh, I wanted to feel this way, and I wanted to be your man, someday. Everything you say, fits so perfectly, that's why it's love. All love. (So happy to feel this way) All love. (Every moment you spend with me) All love. (Don't stop this fantasy) All love. (I can feel it and can't you see.) Our love. It was Saturday morning when I woke up to the truth. It hit me like a landslide and I knew, all I ever wanted, was you. You're all I ever needed, that's the truth. All love. All love All love. All love. All love.

about

Love Alarm - Artist's Notes

Unyielding in its dramatic intention to exalt earnest indie-pop sensibilities, this emblematic journey considers love in all its forms. As the romantic fuel for 'Love is a Freeway' meets a prayer for interpersonal honor to supplant fear-based emotions in 'Show Me Your Soul', the polygon of heart unfolds. 'Jesus Christ (What's to Come?)' proceeds to exhume a searing emotional plea to resurrect grace in a desensitized computer age. Ultimately, the noble idea of living through love rings aloud as an alternative to war in the title track.

As 'Love Alarm' boldly sounds off, the consummate musicianship of the creative team behind the album plays with flying colors. It took years to assemble this allstar cast of my favorite musicians in Utah. What happened between us was nothing short of a sublime envelope-melting magnetism. As an artist, I knew the pathway to beauty would cut no corners. We sometimes needed 60 tracks a song to let these tunes breathe on their own accord, with diamond-like purity. What resulted was the opportunity to try things we've never done before as a band. And what became was forever. -SI
