about
In Your Sweet Heart was written about a goddess of a woman, whom I could never understand. When she left from my life I had a revelation. As well as I knew her, as much time as I spent with her, I never felt she shared her full and true heart with me. It was as if her uber-cool vibes hypnotized me from the day I met her, while on a first date with another girl, and the misty haze of wondering still clouds my vision of what could have been… if only things had been different.

In Your Sweet Heart
Words and Music by Scott Ibex
Found this girl in the morning light,
wish to God I could be with her and it would feel, feel so right,
as it seems in my heart.
Long Brown hair she can sing like the wind does blow,
but her heart I can never know.
I can never tell what is true in her sweet heart.
Oh I don’t know where we’re going and I don’t know where she’s been.
I wish I could know now.
Why can’t you open your heart to me?
Trust me, I’ll let you in.
Don’t tear me apart, again.
Found this girl in the morning light,
wish to g-d I could be with her and it would feel, feel so right,
as it seems in my heart.
Sweet brown eyes melt my heart like the artic sky,
she knows me well and we’ve shared together so, so much time,
oh but still, she never tells.
Oh I don’t know where we’re going and I don’t know where she’s been.
I wish I could know now.
Why can’t you open your heart to me?
Trust me, I’ll let you in.
Don’t tear me apart, again.
Long Brown hair she can sing like the wind does blow,
but her heart I can never know.
I can never tell what is true in her sweet heart.
Tell me what is true in your sweet heart.
